Many of you who know my work know that I’ve spent years speaking with women about love, marriage, dating and sexuality, investigating the deepest issues in us and in our culture in order to find the keys to happier relationships.
I’ve written two magazine columns, “The Intelligent Woman’s Guide to Sex” in Mademoiselle, and “Smart Sex” in New Woman. As a psychotherapist and a speaker, I’ve recently been exploring the new landscape of dating among the country’s 100-million singles—and focusing on the women and men of all ages now recreating love in the image they desire, rather than in the images handed down to them. Addressing groups, whether colleges or corporations, I create an intimate setting, where everyone who wants to speak can be heard.
My books have been translated into 30 languages and bestsellers both at home and abroad. My essays, articles and columns, many of which are on women’s issues, and also on travel, have been rated #1 in magazine and newspaper readership surveys. I’ve appeared on radio (“The Diane Rehm Show”, for instance) and on television, on shows like Oprah!, Larry King Live, The Charlie Rose Show, The View, The Today Show and Good Morning America.
